In the November Community Update I promised you a riddle concerning the naming of our upcoming range of RK3566 Single Board Computers.
The person to solve the riddle first will receive the first board straight from the production line. Leave your guess in the comments section.

The riddle refers to sun and sand which forms the basis of creating crystals.
The riddle refers to cogs circle around which is a reference to clocks and watches that use quartz crystals for keeping accurate time.
The riddle says now here alone I stand so we infer that the quartz is the bit we’re looking for from the clock/watch/gears reference.
Hence: answer is Quartz or Quartz64.
I think your logic make sense, but I bet the first one will be QuartzPro64.

Quartz is between Pine and Rock, alphabetically. Weathering quartz makes sand, so that’s the heritage. Locked in cogs circled round: quartz is Si02, chemically, so a Silicone molecule with two oxygen molecules ‘circling round’. One to the right of Si on the periodic table is P(hosphorous). Looking down a line and ahead you have Selenium, Bromine, and Krypton. Bromine is a red liquid. So ‘the solution can be read’ means Bromine?
So, perhaps the BR64? Or Bromine 64? Krypton is a sexier name, but not a red solution!
